Soft Chocolate Cookies
1/2 C. butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 C. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 C. flour
2/3 C. baking cocoa powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1. Mix together all ingredients.
2. Chill for at least 1/2 hour.
3. Roll into balls and flatten with fork dipped in sugar.
4. Bake in oven at 350* for 8-10 mins.

Praline Crunch Cookies
1 1/2 C. granulated sugar
1 C. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 C. English toffee bits
1/2 C. pecans, chopped
1. Combine sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy.
2. Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Beat a low speed until soft dough forms.
3. Stir in bits and pecans.
4. Cover with plastic wrap and chill 1-2 hours, or until firm.
5. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch. balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake in oven at 375* for 9-13 mins. Cool completely before storing.

Chocolate Chip Cookies
3/4 C. white sugar
3/4 C. brown sugar
1 C. butter, softened
1 egg
2 1/4 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. of chocolate chips
1. Mix all ingredients and bake at 375* for 8-10 mins.
2. Center of cookie will be soft.
